NDAA Operations and Sustainment Award

ARLINGTON, VA - Complete Professional Services, LLC was awarded
a subcontract to support the Department of Defense (DoD) Military
Health Systems (MHS) National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA)
Operations and Sustainment contract. This work is a follow-on
contract to the prime contract successfully executed by CPS from
2006 through 2008, under which CPS developed the Medical Image
Viewer (MIV) and the Picture Archiving and Communication System
(PACS) Integrator (PACSIntegrator) products. These technologies
were initially developed by CPS on behalf of the DoD and VA to
enable the sharing of medical image data between and within the
organizations. CPS holds commercial copyrights on both the MIV and
PACSIntegrator products.
Support services include the operation, maintenance and
sustainment of the availability, quality and timeliness of support
for the DoD users of the currently deployed PACSIntegrator Image
Sharing and MIV products. This functionality currently provides
capability and availability of stored images to medical treatment
decision makers for patients who require follow-up treatment. The
system is deployed at Walter Reed Army Medical Center (WRAMC),
Washington DC, National Naval Medical Center (NNMC) Bethesda, MD,
William Beaumont Army Medical Center (WBAMC) EL Paso, TX, Evans
Army Community Hospital Colorado Springs, CO, Keesler AFB, Biloxi
MS, Naval Health Clinic, Great Lakes, IL, and Landstuhl Regional
Medical Center (LRMC), Landstuhl, Germany.
The scope of this award is to provide system administrator and
user support through training and assistance associated with
operation, maintenance and replacement of existing
hardware/software, capture of appropriate metrics to assess the
efficiency of the solution, obtain a broader range of user feedback
on a monthly basis, identify technical and business obstacles or
constraints, provide Tier II and Tier III support and system
support for both existing and replacement hardware.
