FFIEC InfoBase Redesign

CPS has been awarded a contract to assist the FFIEC in redesigning and implementing its Information Technology Examination Handbook InfoBase. CPS performed an assessment of market leading web content management solutions and selected the Microsoft ASP.NET-based Umbraco solution for implementation.

CPS is providing full life cycle software development and COTS implementation methodologies based on best practices to establish the new Section 508 compliant InfoBase web infrastructure, and populate the current FFIEC content. The resulting new InfoBase Web Content Management System will result in a significant cost savings for the FFIEC - allowing non-technical users to make changes to an existing website with little or no training. CPS will also custom develop extensions to the website for tasks such as XML conversion to a variety of target formats, stand-alone CD-ROM generation of off-line content, and the automated capability to maintain and synchronize a site glossary.
